Microneedling

Microneedling uses your body’s natural healing mechanisms to treat and improve the skin. Available at our Edmonton or Grande Prairie clinics.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a medical device used for the purpose of breaking down old scar tissue and stimulating your own bodies’ collagen and elastin production. Microneedling can treat a variety of skin conditions, including: acne scarring, surgical scarring, stretch marks, fine lines & wrinkles, pore size, skin texture, sun damage and many more conditions. Microneedling improves the overall quality of skin.

This device glides gently along the surface of the skin and creates numerous, tiny holes which allows the skin to repair itself by stimulating collagen & elastin production. As the skin responds, it plumps and thickens, reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles, pores and fine lines. Microneedling can be used for all skin types and colors, without risk of discoloration (known as hyperpigmentation). It can also be used on all areas of the body (neck, décolleté, arms, legs) and combined with platelet-rich plasma, known as the ’vampire’ facial.
